1)Overview
ZSW series outdoor rod-type post porcelain Insulators are mainly used in outdoor power stations, substations, power distribution installations and electrical equipment with a power-frequency AC voltage rating of 40.5kV to 1100kV, for the insulation and support of live parts.
The insulators are suitable for use in environments with temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +40℃. Some types of the product can be applied in regions with an altitude of up to 4000 meters. The product is divided into two main categories: standard type and anti-pollution type. The anti-pollution type is suitable for medium, heavy, and extra-heavy pollutedareas.
2)Structural and technological features
The porcelain components of this series of insulators adopt a solid core structure, and the cementing parts feature a sand-bonded cylindrical structure. Our company employs an advanced formulation for our electrical porcelain products, which delivers excellent performance and high operational reliability. The sand used for sand-bonding is dedicated granulated sand produced under strict process control. It exhibits superior bonding performance with the porcelain body and a compatible coefficient of thermal expansion, effectively enhancing the mechanical strength of the products.
The product features a well-designed flange structure, ensuring uniform stress distribution under mechanical loading. The flange is manufactured from ductile iron with high mechanical strength, and is hot-dip galvanized on its surface, providing outstanding corrosion resistance. High-grade cement is utilized for cementing, and coupled with a rational curing process, the inherent strength of the porcelain is fully exploited.
Products of all voltage ratings are of a single-column design, offering the advantages of a simple structure, long service life, and minimal maintenance requirements. To guarantee the reliability of the insulators, each product undergoes impact testing, ultrasonic flaw detection, and four-directional bending load withstand testing on an individual basis.
Our company has introduced the isothermal high-velocity nozzle drawer kiln from the United States, as well as the isostatic pressing process and key equipment from Sweden, and has built an isostatic pressing rod-type production line with internationally advanced levels.
Products manufactured using this process feature uniform porcelain microstructure, low strength dispersion, high dimensional accuracy, excellent form and position tolerance, and high mechanical strength. The bending failure strength of the 550kV class rod-type post porcelain insulators can reach up to 20 kN, making them fully capable of replacing imported products. We can provide products of various voltage classes and strength grades for China’s power construction.
In July 2006, the development of the 1100kV rod-type post porcelain insulators was successfully completed. This product has a total height of 10 m and a bending failure load of 12.5 kN.
The outdoor solid-core rod-type post porcelain insulators manufactured by our company feature the following advantages: reasonable structure, high mechanical strength, large safety margin, light weight, high reliability and long service life. They have been widely praised by customers both at home and abroad.
