  • LW Series self-energy SF6 Circuit Breaker is a three-pole/single-pole AC 50Hz/60Hz outdoor high voltage power transmission equipment for the division of the rated current, fault current or conversion lines, transmission and distribution system for protection, control and operation can be opening, closing and fast automatic reclosing operation. The circuit breaker using the latest design principles, has a simple structure, small size, low supplies, the energy needed to operate a small, high reliability, easy installation, low noise characteristics. Is my company developed a new generation of high voltage SF6 circuit breakers.

Structur

  • LW Series self-energy sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker uses the principle of self-interrupter, greatly reducing the pressure cylinder diameter and weight, reduced operating power, making equipped with spring operating mechanism to become a reality. Three single pole circuit breaker and each of the three mounted on the spring mechanism consisting of three stents, can be either unipolar operation, and can achieve three-pole electrical linkage. Spring mechanism mounted on the side of the bracket, electrical control system is placed inside the body. The upper part of the body is a single-pole circuit breaker interrupter single fracture, the middle pillar porcelain sets, the lower part is used for sealing, opening spring and buffer.

Principl

  • LW Series self-interrupter chamber of sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker uses advanced self-interrupter principle, when the fault current, the arc own energy use within the pressure cylinder gas pressure increases, when the current zero crossing of the formation of a strong bidirectional blowing gas to the upstream region of the discharge port to extinguish the arc, the circuit breaker breaking successful, thus reducing operating power mechanism.


  • Way of the current flowing through the system :

  • Static contact with a wiring board seat → Static finger →Main contacts→ Pressure cylinder → Moving finger → With moving contacts seat wiring board. (Closing position) Opening operation: When the circuit breaker closed, issue of gate signal shunt opening release releases, opening spring through the shaft and crank arm, thereby pulling the insulation and the overall pressure cylinder rod assembly downward, when the static finger and main contacts separate and static and dynamic arc contact arcing contact is no separation, current is still moving along a stationary arcing contact arcing contacts and mobility. When the dynamic and static arc arcing when the contacts separate, the energy produced by arc burning the gas pressure inside the cylinder pressure increases, the nozzle throat from stationary arcing contacts and current zero after pressure from the high pressure gas cylinders nozzle throat and larynx bidirectional moving arcing contact spray, extinguishing the arc.


  • Closing operation: When the circuit breaker is in the open state, issued a closing signal closing release tripping spring actuator shaft and the crank arm, so as to promote the entire voltage insulated rod and cylinder assembly upward movement to close brake status, while giving opening spring energy storage, the motor starts to make the closing spring, ready for the next opening operation or reclosing operation.


  • Sealing system uses dynamic sealing and static sealing in two forms. Single dual static seal with O-ring seals for the use of rotating seals and use "X"-ring, during exercise reduces wear and leakage probability.

Operation

  • After circuit breaker closed, the close and open spring store energy, inside crutch arm and outside crutch arm bear moment from contra-clockwise, once the opening winding electrified, the lock releases and rotate in contra-clockwise driving by open spring, and inside crutch arm open circuit breaker. The moment is locked up by keeping engine and engine under opening state.

When spring mechanism is opening, close spring storage, ratchet wheel axis bear moment from opening spring in contra-clockwise, the moment is locked up by holding engine and opening engine. When opening winding el certified, the cam and ratchet wheel connected with clocking devices release. The cam driving by close spring  in contra-clockwise, and its moment depresses open spring as to open the circuit breaker.

As the circuit breaker finished with closing, close spring is releasing, (as shown in Figure 1) the pawl axis connects with motor by gear. The motor starts up instantly and open spring store energy.
